Trevor Perry has been a keen photographer for almost 50 years.  He lives in Rainow near Macclesfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park, an area that he loves and a source of many of his landscape images.  He also spends several months each year in Almeria, Spain.  This is a relatively undeveloped area bursting with photographic potential and contrasting vividly with the UK.
In addition to landscapes, Trevor is inspired by a wide variety of photographic genres and is particularly drawn to candid urban photography where he often tries to show how people interact with this urban jungle. He has held a lifelong fascination with astronomy and so astrophotography is a natural combination of his interests.
Trevor Perry is a former radio astronomer and professional environmental consultant who specialised in helping industrial and government clients to reduce their environmental impacts, minimise risks and stay on the right side of environmental law.  He remains passionate about protecting this wonderful planet.  Trevor's photographs have been widely published by NGOs and the media including: BBC; Friends of the Earth; Environment Agency; SEPA; CPRE; Daily Telegraph; The Guardian; and The Times, as well as illustrating various books and musical albums.
